Our next general meeting will feature Christopher Lockyer. We'll need to start a little earlier than usual since Christopher is sitting in the very eastern tip of our continent and is therefore four hours ahead of us.

We'll start at 6 pm (mark your calendars)
Meeting goes until 8 pm

Link to connect through Zoom (coming soon): See BASK Calendar, website members home page, or Buzz

Thanks a lot to Margot Otway for using her network to get Christopher to join us next week!

Topic for the session: Explore Atlantic Canada With Me

Come explore with me. I live on the eastern edge of North America and have an amazing playground. Join me as I show you my back yard. Nova Scotia boasts the highest tides in the world in the Bay of Fundy and provides us with so many different opportunities to paddle. We'll explore the shores of Nova Scotia, then jump over and explore several areas on the Island of Newfoundland. If you have never head of Newfoundland, you've been missing out! Newfoundland is recognized as one of the most culturally diverse regions in Canada. A blend of traditional living sprinkled with mystery and one the few truly wild places left in Canada. Join us on this six-day expedition paddle in the Bay of Exploits. This section of the coastline has been chosen for its spectacular beauty, whales, abandoned communities, and massive icebergs.
